Position Summary:
As a Business Development Associate, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our organization. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and developing strategies to increase revenue. Your goal will be to expand our client base, enhance our market presence, and foster long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and emerging industry trends.
Analyze competitors and market dynamics to inform business development strategies.
2. Lead Generation:
Identify and generate leads through various channels, including networking, industry events, and digital platforms.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.
3. Client Relationship Management:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with your new and existing clients.
Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
4. Sales Strategy Development:
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective sales strategies and campaigns.
Create tailored proposals and presentations to meet client needs and objectives.
5. Negotiation and Closing:
Ensure successful closure of sales opportunities and follow up on client satisfaction.
6. Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with internal teams, including creative, account management, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution.
Communicate client expectations and project requirements to relevant teams.
7. Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Prepare regular reports and presentations on progress and outcomes for senior management.
8. Networking and Relationship Building:
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to represent the agency and build professional connections.
Engage with key industry stakeholders to stay informed about market trends and opportunities.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the marketing and advertising industry.
Strong understanding of marketing and advertising concepts and trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
