Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CCTV Operator to conduct pipeline inspections using specialized Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) equipment. The operator will be responsible for capturing video footage of underground pipelines, identifying defects, and assisting with maintenance and repair planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CCTV camera systems to inspect sewer, storm, and water pipelines.
• Navigate robotic cameras through pipelines and capture high-quality video footage.
• Assess and document pipeline conditions, identifying defects such as cracks, blockages, and corrosion.
• Prepare detailed reports and inspection logs based on CCTV findings.
• Work closely with field crews, engineers, and project managers to coordinate inspection schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and environmental regulations .
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate CCTV equipment and related inspection tools.
• Follow proper confined space entry procedures and adhere to OSHA and DOT safety regulations.
• Communicate findings effectively with stakeholders and recommend appropriate corrective actions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience operating CCTV cameras for pipeline inspections (preferred).
• Knowledge of NASSCO PACP, MACP, LACP coding is a plus.
• Familiarity with WinCan, POSM, or similar inspection software .
• Ability to work in confined spaces and hazardous environments .
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred) and ability to travel to job sites.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret pipeline conditions accurately.
• Physical ability to lift equipment, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 50 lbs.
• Capable of working in physically demanding environments, including confined spaces and outdoor conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods of time.

75% of travel required and flexible travel schedule.
