CCTV Operator

Job Summary Description:

This position is responsible for working effectively with supervisors and peers in activities associated with the operation of CCTV trucks and equipment for the successful rehabilitation of sewer and stormwater lines.

Essential Job Accountabilities:

• Conduct CCTV inspections using robotic TV equipment per NASSCO standards.
• Execute cleaning and TV work required for project.
• Pass out notifications to residents and businesses as instructed.
• Robotically reinstate sanitary service laterals.
• Operate and maintain CCTV equipment.
• Assemble and disassemble hoses and couplings.
• Install liner as needed with crew.
• Scaffolding operations
• Utilize all safety equipment and follow standard operating procedures.
• Other tasks, as assigned.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalency.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Possess and demonstrate proficiency in above job accountabilities with experience operating and maintaining CCTV equipment for sewer (required)
• CDL preferred. Acceptable driving record required.
• Safety Certifications for Confined Space, Competent Person, 10 and/or 30-hour OSHA, as well as those related to traffic control, as required.
• Must be able to be proactive and troubleshoot.
• Ability to use a computer.
• Excellent manual dexterity to use hand tools and portable power equipment.
• Attention to detail.
• Good communication skills with good interpersonal interaction
• Must successfully pass a drug test, as well as driver’s license check for past 2 years without any suspensions or major traffic violations.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and haul up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to travel is required, as much as 50% if needed.
• Must be able to effectively work in confined spaces.
