Medix is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a fully remote position with a Telehealth company that provides dedicated clinical care to help patients achieve their weight loss goals. This role is heavily focused on determining patient eligibility and medical record review. Responsibilities/ Job Duties: Review patient intake forms to determine patient eligibility. Audit patient charts and review medical records.Manage scheduling, reminders, and EMR updates.Verify insurance, process claims, and ensure HIPAA compliance.Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements: Diploma from an accredited Medical Assisting programMUST have national certification (NHA, AAMA, AMT, NAHP)Schedule/ Shift: M-F 40 hrs/wk, 8a-5pBenefits: Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances) Health Benefits / Dental / Vision ( Medix Offers 6 different health plans: 3 Major Medical Plans, 2 Fixed Indemnity Plans (Standard and Preferred), and 1 Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) Plan.
