Job Description

We are hiring for our client in the biotechnology industry.

Duration: 12+ months

Responsibilities:

• Lead small to mid-level projects from conception to completion, including equipment design and process engineering.
• Supervise contractors and coordinate mechanical assembly of designs.
• Perform hands-on tasks, including equipment installation, assembly, and qualification.
• Develop and lead qualification efforts for manufacturing process changes and new product introductions.
• Characterize manufacturing processes and establish controls for critical process drivers.
• Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring alignment with goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of converting and process industries, with a focus on mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks).
• Hands-on experience with tools, machinery, and equipment assembly.
• Familiarity with industrial safety standards and regulatory principles (e.g., OSHA).
• Ability to lead cross-functional technical programs and collaborate with in-house and external resources.
• Knowledge of risk assessment, process validation, and structured problem-solving techniques.
