As an intern in Commercial Education & Training, you’ll be a valuable contributing member of the team developing a training course for our Commercial distributor audience. This involves using best practices to:

• Assess the scope of the training
• Work with subject matter experts to determine the content of the training
• Arrange the content of the training into the course
• Use a variety of e-learning and visual graphics platforms to create the

course

• Determine the test questions for the course
• Assist the team in planning for the evaluation of the course

At the end of your internship, you will have a completed training course that is sure to educate learners well and make a difference. This course can be used in a portfolio as well (as long as proprietaryconfidential information is removed), resulting in a great show-and-tell piece for your job interviews later! **What Do You Need?** To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements: · **_Experience & Education_** _:_ You should be actively pursuing a degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or related program · **_Technology Skills Example_** _:_ Intermediate computer skills, experience with Articulate Rise or Articulate Storyline is a plus, experience with CamtasiaPhotoshop or other videographics software is a plus · ** _Performance Characteristics Example_** : Strong organizational and self- management skills with a high attention to detail, effective written and oral communication, creative systems-thinking approach to adult learning and education, ability to initiate and maintain collaborative relationship with stakeholders and subject matter experts **What Can We Give You?** At The Toro Company, we are always working to make sure our interns know just how valued they are.
