Construction – General Labor

A local construction company offering new home construction as well as home renovations and remodel services in the Flathead Valley is looking for General Laborers. They understand the importance of maintaining the beauty and integrity of Montana and strive to ensure that each project is designed to suit the size and scale of the site, while maximizing views and natural landscape opportunities.

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Construction Worker to join this team in building and renovating residential properties. As a key member of the construction crew, you will perform a variety of tasks that support the construction and maintenance of homes. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team to meet project deadlines and safety standards. Members of this team are like family, they work hard and play hard together. Because of this comradery, the crew is dedicated to quality and takes personal pride in completed projects.

Pay: $18 to $20/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time

Essential Functions and Duties:

• Assist with the construction, framing, and finishing of residential homes, including tasks like drywall, roofing, siding, and carpentry
• Load and unload materials and tools, maintaining an organized work site
• Operate and maintain construction tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist with the installation of windows, doors, insulation and other construction components
• Collaborate with other tradesmen to ensure project progress and quality
• Prepare and clean job sites, including material handling and waste disposal

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in general construction or residential building preferred
• Familiarity with construction tools and equipment
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a team
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
