Construction Superintedent

The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction projects, from start to finish. This includes managing subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring that projects meet all quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to report on progress, resolve issues, and adjust plans when necessary.
• Review and approve daily/weekly work reports from subcontractors and laborers.
• Monitor material deliveries and inventory to ensure project requirements are met on schedule.
• Conduct quality control inspections and ensure that the final product meets or exceeds the client’s expectations.
• Handle all project documentation, including Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and change orders.
• Resolve conflicts, delays, and challenges on-site in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• 3+ to 5+ years of experience in a superintendent role, preferably in commercial or residential construction.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
