Frontier Energy is a professional consulting firm that specializes in energy efficiency and advanced energy solutions for industrial, residential, multifamily, and commercial buildings, food service, transportation, and next generation grid. We design, implement, and evaluate programs that help our clients achieve their goals.
The Contract Administrator will support multiple Frontier projects and business units across the United States by serving as a primary intake and reviewer of agreements. The successful candidate will have proven contract administration experience with a variety of agreement formats, a passion for the law, and a desire to make a positive impact on the environment through lowering energy consumption.
- Assist in the creation, drafting and execution of a wide range of agreements, SOWs, and amendments necessary to support business unit activities
- Day to day management of Contract Review System
- Review incoming contracts to determine overall risk and determine the proper level of contract escalation
- Participate and provide guidance in weekly PC calls and one-on-one check-ins
- Coordinate escalation to Legal or Chief Financial Officer with respect to contract reviews, threatened and actual litigation, corporate compliance issues, and other related matters
- Assist in maintenance of federal, state, and local compliance requirements
- Collaboration with business units - Ensuring changes to budget commitments, subcontractors, periods of performance, and related compliance requirements are communicated effectively and contractual issues resolved
- Work with Proposal group to coordinate proposed contractual requirements, management representations, requests for information, and other forms and workpapers required for proposals
- Assist in developing contract management processes and best practice guides
- Undergo continuing professional education on business law through formal training and team member conducted training
Qualifications: - Minimum 2 years experience as a contract administrator - Specifically with MSAs, NDAs, Vendor Agreements, SaaS, and DPAs
- Basic understanding of legal concepts and common contractual clauses
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with willingness to use video chat, messenger, phone, email and other methods to most effectively engage others
- Superior attention to detail - Ability to identify contractual inconsistencies
- Strong skillset with MS Excel®, MS Word®, MS PowerPoint®, MS Outlook®, and Windows® operating systems
Preferred skills/experience: - Experience with Microsoft Sharepoint
- Bachelor's degree in legal studies, business administration, or related field is preferred.
