Title: Data Analyst

Pay rate: $28.57 per hour

Duration: Until 03/16/2026

W2 contract only (No C2C)

Location- Fargo, ND, 58102

1st shift Monday-Friday

Job Summary:

Efficiently retrieves internal and external data and ensures that source data is accurate, meaningful, and valid for use in analytics and reporting. Create Power BI reports from retrieved data to present it meaningfully to other team members and stakeholders. Gathers team input on tool creation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify, elicit, and document project/process requirements using appropriate modeling techniques if required. Analyze requirements and validate them with original users, eliminating confusion. Maintain documentation and traceability throughout the project.
2. Conduct research using primary data sources, and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends.
3. Support the collection of business requirements using a variety of methods, such as interviews, document analysis, and workflow analysis, to express requirements clearly and succinctly.
4. Identify solution recommendations to business problems when given fairly well-understood business needs at a business unit level.
5. Carry out feasibility and assessment work for proposed and current projects to contribute to the development and continuous review of business cases.

Required Skills:

1. Intermediate Power BI skills
2. Intermediate Excel skills
3. Excellent past programming experience
4. Excellent communication skills

Education:

1. BA in Data Analytics, Software/Computer Engineering
2. 1 year of experience (Open to recent grads with experience in the skills listed)
