Solder Assembler

Pay Rate: $15/hour
Location: [Orlando, FL

Position Overview:

ArangoHRS is looking for a detail-oriented Solder Assembler I to join our team. This role is responsible for assembling and soldering electronic components while following precise manufacturing procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong hand coordination, the ability to work with microscopes, and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow written manufacturing procedures accurately.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and STEP-C guidelines .
• Perform soldering on Sn63 assemblies , including:
  • Thru-hole components
  • Surface mount chips (0402 and larger)
• Apply J-STD-001 standards for soldered electrical and electronic assemblies.
• Follow Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures to protect components.
• Use a variety of hand tools, including:
  • Torque tools
  • Calipers
  • Wire strippers
  • Tinning pots
  • Vacuum ovens
• Perform tin and wick operations for gold mitigation.
• Handle and store chemicals safely in compliance with safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Must be eligible to work on ITAR-controlled data .

Skills & Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of soldering techniques .
• Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity .
• Ability to use a microscope for extended periods .
• Familiarity with basic tools and testing equipment .
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely.

Education & Experience:

• Basic soldering skills required.
• Completion of Valencia EBA assembly class or equivalent training is preferred.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• Light lifting required.
• Extended periods of sitting.
• Occasional squatting, bending, and walking around the production floor.
• Must be eligible to obtain security clearance if required.
• Must be able to work on ITAR-controlled data .
