Job Title: Event Assistant

Job Overview: We are seeking an organized and enthusiastic Event Assistant to support our event planning team in the coordination and execution of various events. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The Event Assistant will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of events, from preparation to post-event follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and organizing events, including conferences, meetings, corporate events, and social gatherings.
• Maintain event schedules and timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Communicate with vendors, clients, and guests to ensure all event needs are met.
• Support the event team on-site during the event, managing guests, registrations, and handling any issues that arise.
• Track and manage event materials, supplies, and budgets.
• Assist with marketing efforts for events, including creating promotional materials, social media posts, and email communications.
• Provide post-event reports and assist with follow-up activities.
• Perform administrative duties such as maintaining event files, processing invoices, and managing correspondence.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and event management software (preferred).
