Richland County First Steps is seeking a Family Advocate Manager to lead and support our passionate team of home visitors across multiple programs, including Early Head Start, Connected Families, and Local Resources. This full-time leadership role is an opportunity to champion family-centered services that truly make a difference in our community.
As a key part of our Family Services team, you'll guide a dynamic group of home visitors through reflective supervision, program coaching, and outreach strategies that connect families to meaningful resources and support.

What Youll Do:

• Supervise, train, and coach home visitors to ensure quality and consistency across home visitation models.
• Conduct home visit observations, review data, and support program compliance and reporting.

• Build family engagement through socializations, group connections, and community outreach.
• Maintain knowledge of and guide staff in using data systems like Visit Tracker, SC Data/KITS, Go Engage, and DSS Portal.
• Provide reflective supervision that encourages growth, resilience, and a shared commitment to family well-being.

What Were Looking For:

• Bachelors degree in Social Work, Early Childhood, or Human Services (Masters preferred).
• 35 years of experience in home visitation or family support programs, with supervisory experience.
• A compassionate leader with strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Familiarity with family-centered, trauma-informed care and experience in reflective supervision.
• A valid drivers license and reliable transportation for field work.

Schedule & Work Environment:
Full-time, exempt position | Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM Occasional evening and weekend hours required Work occurs in a mix of office, home, and community settings with frequent local travel
