Position Summary: The Golf Course Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing all equipment used on the golf course, including mowers, tractors, other small engines, pumps, sprinklers, carts, pathways and other aspects of the Golf Course. The ideal candidate has a strong background in mechanical repair, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring that all equipment functions efficiently and safely to support the maintenance of the course.

Essential Functions
Qualifications
Required Experience and Education: High school diploma, GED or equivalent 2 + years’ experience in maintenance or other similar golf related roles
Physical: Frequent standing, sitting and moving about the facilities. Handling objects, products and equipment. Using tools and other maintenance equipment. Occasionally push, pull and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds. Must communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must observe details at close range.
Other: Must speak English fluently. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Mathematical skills include basic math. Problem solving, reasoning, and ability to multi-task and interact with people under pressure.
