HR Manager Location Torrance, CA : Alpinestars has an immediate need for an energetic and dynamic Human Resource Manager to come & join our fast-paced & growing company! The
Human Resource Manager will develop and maintain the corporate Human Resources structure including recruitment, employee relations, employee compliance, engagement and performance management. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the Talent Acquisition process including posting of requisitions, managing the applicant flow process, and providing thoughtful recommendations to hiring managers consistent with our organization's hiring and strategies. Direct the entire onboarding and new hire experience lifecycle beyond day one.
- Lead and facilitate employee orientation and onboarding programs; maintain and update onboarding collaterals. Continually evaluate onboarding program by conducting follow-ups, gather feedback, maintain metrics, assure all necessary tools and resources are available to employees to perform job responsibilities and create training plans for continued improvement of new hire experience.
- Acts as a trusted resource to managers and employees. Provide day-to-day human resources services in the areas of policy interpretation, onboarding, and training.
- Manage employee Leaves of Absences and Accommodations under the ADA process; liaise with external partners, employee, and their supervisor or manager to facilitate the interactive process, answer questions and make recommendations.
- Provide coaching and conflict resolution to managers and employees, and work with managers to make recommendations for improvements. Provide guidance and support to managers on performance-related issues.
- Develop, update and implement HR Policies and Procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Identify training needs and coordinate development programs to enhance employee skills. Facilitate workshops and training sessions on HR-related topics.
- Implement and administer annual performance programs, including goal setting and reviews.
- Assist with bi-weekly Payroll processing to ensure time cards are reviewed and approved by managers and employees hours are reflected accurately on the time cards.
- Coordinate annual Benefits Open Enrollment and assist with 401(K) signs up.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- SHRM or HRCI certification is preferred
- 3+ years' experience in Human Resources preferably in manufacturing/distribution, with a proven track record of success
- Excellent knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills; Able to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment, strong desire to learn
