IT Help Desk Technician

As an IT Help Desk Technician, you will have the opportunity to provide end-user assistance, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and support IT infrastructure. • Salary Rate: $40,000-$50,000 per year, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in person.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Set up, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Assist with user account management in Active Directory, Office 365, and other business applications.
• Support and maintain printers, VoIP phones, and other office IT equipment.
• Document support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the IT ticketing system.
• Work with senior IT staff on projects related to infrastructure, security, and cloud technologies.
• Participate in routine system monitoring and maintenance activities.
• Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 am-5 pm, with ½ hour lunch. Some Saturdays may be required for special projects.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a related role.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose technical issues efficiently.
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, 365, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts.
• Familiarity with remote desktop tools and IT ticketing systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic.
