About the Job

We are actively looking for an IT Manager for immediate hire. This is a leadership role for successful managing and deploying IT support infrastructure across Systel, Inc. This person will be responsible for managing the team and ensuring that the services are available 24/7 and fully CMCC certified.   We are looking for someone who has a strong drive, maintains an absolute ownership of their work, and has an ability to learn quickly on the job.

This position is 100% in-person at our headquarters in Sugar Land, TX.

The Work

• Manage IT department and provide leadership for the team.
• Oversee the administration and maintenance of the company's technology infrastructure. 
• Work effectively across departments to ensure IT service delivery against agreed priorities
• Oversee the SLA for support tickets

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or other related field
• 5+ years experience in managing IT infrastructure and teams.

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong skill and knowledge of
  • IT equipment, technology, architecture.
  • Cloud based services
  • ​​​​​​​Virtualization
  • NIST / CMCC compliance
  • Firewalls, security appliances and services
  • Managing teams
• Able to work independently, prioritize and handle multiple deadlines, proactive problem-solver, team player.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to develop effective business relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers
