We are on the hunt for a seasoned IT Manager who is well-versed in the legal industry. This is a permanent position, where you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's information technology projects. You will coordinate with department heads to assess and recommend technologies that support company organizational needs. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of IT infrastructure and applications, excellent strategic planning skills, and the ability to lead and manage large-scale IT projects. Experience with Cisco, MS Server, VPN, Exchange, and Office 365 is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the IT department, ensuring delivery of key project outcomes on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement IT policies and best practices for the organization, including service provision, performance evaluation, and system upgrades.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to determine the IT needs of the company and to develop strategic plans to meet those needs.
  • Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of hardware and software systems that support business operations.
  • Coordinate with external partners and vendors to negotiate IT service contracts and to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Implement and manage security systems to protect the company's data and infrastructure.
  • Monitor and report on IT budget and expenditures.
  • Manage and develop a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, training, and motivation.
  • Ensure the continuous delivery of IT services through oversight of service level agreements with end users and monitoring of IT systems performance.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology and industry trends to ensure the company's technology is at par with or ahead of industry standards.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably in the legal industry.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, software, and hardware, including Cisco, MS Server, VPN, Exchange, and Office 365.
  • Proven experience in IT project management and strategy development.
  • MUST have experience with Legal Management Software (LMS)
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to foresee potential issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices in the legal industry.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and projects.
  • Strong vendor management and partner relation skills to identify and leverage resources external to the organization to enhance capabilities that support business objectives.
