You will report directly to the Executive Director or Administrator. You will be responsible for providing massage therapy services to patients in accordance with the interdisciplinary plan of care. The massage therapist assesses the patient, develops a plan of care in coordination with the IDG, while documenting and continually evaluating the proper course of treatment in order to provide optimal care to the patient. Follows appropriate standards of practice according to the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB). Educates staff members on the appropriate use of the massage therapy program and encourages referrals from all clinical staff and volunteers. Completes the massage therapy assessment for patients and devises a treatment plan, contributing to the IDG plan of care. Provides massage therapy visits to patients in accordance with the plan of care. About You: Graduate of an accredited school of massage A minimum of one (1) year of massage therapy experience required. Healthcare setting preferred. Current license to practice Massage Therapy in the state of requested employment CPR Certification Current certification with the NCBTMB.
