Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Operations Manager to oversee the growth and daily operations of our fashion brand. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the opening of our first retail store and ensuring its long-term success. As the Operations Manager, you will be tasked with streamlining daily operations, overseeing inventory management, ensuring high customer service standards, and driving the overall performance of the business. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Store Opening & Launch:
  • Lead and manage the opening of our first retail store, overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all aspects of the launch.
  • Collaborate with the design, marketing, and real estate brokers to ensure the store aligns with the brand’s vision, aesthetic, and target market.
  • Manage the hiring, training, and onboarding of the initial store team, setting them up for success in delivering excellent customer experiences.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure a smooth transition from opening to ongoing operations.
  1. Daily Operations & Performance Management:
  • Oversee daily store and warehouse operations, ensuring all tasks are executed in a timely, efficient, and high-quality manner.
  • Monitor and assess store performance, including sales, customer feedback, inventory levels, and operational efficiency, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, store standards, and brand values.
  • Manage inventory control and replenishment processes to ensure stock levels meet demand without excess or shortages.
  1. Team Leadership & Development:
  • Supervise and support the store and warehouse team, fostering a positive and productive environment.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and performance reviews to ensure continuous improvement in customer service, product knowledge, and operational execution.
  • Lead by example, promoting a strong work ethic, brand loyalty, and a customer-first mindset.
  1. Customer Experience & Brand Consistency:
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service, creating a welcoming and memorable in-store experience.
  • Ensure the store reflects the brand’s identity through visual merchandising, product displays, and customer engagement.
  • Address any customer concerns or feedback promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  1. Operational Process & Improvement:
  • Develop and implement operational procedures to optimize store efficiency, improve workflows, and reduce costs where possible.
  • Regularly assess and improve operational processes to align with industry best practices and the brand's growth.
  • Ensure proper health and safety practices are maintained in the store environment.
  1. Growth Strategy & Expansion Planning:
  • Assist in creating and executing strategies to expand the brand, including evaluating potential locations for future stores.
  • Work closely with leadership to develop scalable systems and processes that will support long-term growth.

Key Requirements: 

  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role within the retail or fashion industry, especially with experience in launching new stores.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, supply chain processes, and retail metrics.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to improving operational efficiency.
  • A passion for fashion and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
