Job Description

Expanding Plaintiff Personal Injury and Real Estate firm seeking Paralegal for immediate hire with 1-4 years of experience in Plaintiff or Defense Personal Injury Litigation.

The candidate should be an excellent communicator, high energy and extremely motivated and able to handle multiple-party motor vehicle accidents, premise liability, construction, uninsured and underinsured motorist claims, and all other Plaintiff personal injury cases. The candidate should want to grow with an expanding and hard-working firm. 

This is an in-office position candidate must be able to commute to downtown Chicago offices; however, work from home is offered over time with experience.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and summarizing medical bills and records.
• Performing administrative duties (calendar deadlines, organizing case files, draft letters, order medical records, etc.).
• Opening insurance claims on third-party premise and motor-vehicle accident cases and communicating with insurance adjusters.
• Researching and collecting evidence for pre-suit investigations.
• Composing and sending demand letters. 

Requirements:

• Great client communication.
• Microsoft Excel.
• Microsoft Word.
• Bilingual/Spanish-speaking preferred but not required.
