We are currently seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our team at Valdosta State Prison located in Valdosta, Georgia.

The Physician Assistant (Medical) works under the supervision of a physician in a correctional environment and is responsible for assisting in the delivery of healthcare and patient care management, including collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team, performing assessments, diagnosing patients, and assisting with medication management.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted GA PA license
• Ability to pass background check
• 2+ years experience working as a PA
• Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration
