As a Piping/Plumbing Senior Designer in our Washington DC office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all. Here’s why we need you: In this role, you will establish design criteria and develop system designs from concept plans and interpret information set forth in the basis of design as well as information gathered from users, project partners, field surveys, and code research. Minimum Qualifications: Associates Degree in a related field or equivalent experience required. 8+ years of experience in designing plumbing/piping systems, specifically lab and/or clinical design experience. Expertise in computer operation for engineering design programs and in the current version of AutoCAD and/or REVIT. Understanding of applicable design codes and specification requirements and ability to interpret them. Ability to work well in a team environment, including carrying out appropriate follow-through with others, mentoring, delegating work, and giving and receiving constructive feedback. Communicates with clients, project partners, and individuals at all levels in the organization. Effective Skills to Help You Flourish: Strong spoken and written communication skills. Excellent organization and time management skills. Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes. Able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks. Effective working individually and within team environments.
