Plastic Injection Mold Operator -- Multiple Shifts Open -- Weekly Pay

As a Plastic Injection Mold Operator, you will be responsible for installing, setting up, and maintaining injection molds, ensuring the production of quality plastic components.

Responsibilities

• Install molds using hoist or forklift and manually manipulate and secure molds in press.
• Set up and shut down molds according to setup sheet and diagram, including attaching and removing water lines and safety equipment.
• Start machine, engage feed, and observe operation to ensure quality production.
• Adjust machine controls and guides to meet product specifications.
• Replace worn machine accessories such as controls or switches.
• Clean press, molds, and parts.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 6 months of tenure in the most recent position.
• Ability to lift 50lbs independently.
• 6+ months of machine operating experience.
• 6+ months of machine setup and troubleshooting experience.
• Mechanical aptitude, such as working on a farm, cars, or in an auto body shop.
• Experience in assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Troubleshooting machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance.
• Running diagnostic tests to ensure system functionality.
• Repairing broken or faulty machine parts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.50/hr.
