Are you a chemical engineer who thrives at the intersection of project execution and process excellence?

We’re seeking a P roject Engineer with a strong background in process engineering to lead high-impact capital projects and drive process improvements in a dynamic, hands-on manufacturing environment. This role is perfect for someone who can wear both hats—delivering technical process solutions while ensuring projects are delivered on time, on spec, and on budget.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and manage capital and infrastructure projects from conception through startup , with a focus on process-driven improvements .
• Collaborate with Operations, R&D, Maintenance, and EHS to ensure safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Perform technical evaluations, develop P&IDs , material and energy balances, and equipment specifications.
• Troubleshoot and optimize chemical processes involving batch and continuous operations.
• Ensure all project work complies with industry codes, PSM/RMP regulations, and internal standards.
• Lead and participate in PHAs/HAZOPs and drive corrective actions through to completion.
• Support project commissioning and process validation activities.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to cross-functional development.
• Monitor and control project performance—scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
• Identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities aligned with business goals.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering; PE license is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing , including both process and project engineering roles .
• Demonstrated ability to lead capital projects and drive process optimizations.
• Solid knowledge of chemical unit operations (e.g., heat exchangers, reactors, distillation, filtration).
• Familiarity with PHA, HAZOP, PSM/RMP, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills—able to convey complex ideas clearly.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally in a plant environment.
• Proficiency with engineering tools such as Aspen, AutoCAD , or similar is a plus.
• A proactive, self-directed mindset with strong problem-solving and project management skills.
