Job Description

Builders Capital is looking for a dedicated and experienced Scrum Master to join our team. The Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating and optimizing our Agile processes, ensuring that our development teams can effectively deliver high-quality products. This role requires a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Guide the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers. Identify and remove any obstacles that may be hindering the team’s progress. Promote a collaborative team environment that fosters creativity and innovation. Encourage continuous improvement within the team and organization. Serve as the main point of contact between the development team and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals. Monitor and report on team performance and progress, using metrics to drive decision-making and process improvements. Assist the Product Owner with maintaining the product backlog, ensuring it is well-organized and prioritized.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role in an Agile environment. Proven experience leading Agile teams and managing projects. Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification preferred.
