GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring Pennsylvania ACT 67 Security Officers in Johnstown, PA 15902 to serve as school security personnel to perform routine safety and security duties throughout the 2024-2025 school year.

Compensation :

• $16.00 / hour

Schedule:

• High School , Middle School , and Elementary
• School sporting and educational events
• Must have evening and weekend availability

About the job:

• Ensures orderly foot traffic and crowd control during special events.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all school staff members, students, visitors, and vendors at all times.
• Provide enhanced campus supervision by observing, surveying the area, and providing reporting on the activity that occurs on the school premise including but not limited to suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and vandalism.
• Serve as the first responder providing rapid response to critical incidents and coordinating with local law enforcement when necessary.
• Read, interpret, and write detailed reports of activity in the third person.
• Exercise sound judgment to know when and how to e nforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
• Foster and maintain positive professional relationships with school staff and students.
• Must remain professional and courteous with staff, students, and visitors at all times.
• All other duties as assigned.

Your background:

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)

• Must be able to successfully pass an extensive pre-employment screening process to include an S SPA ACT 67 background check and pre-employment drug screening.
