Senior SEO Strategist & Lead

Location: Pompton Plains, NJ
Salary: $125,000 – $175,000

We are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven Senior SEO Strategist & Lead to drive organic growth, optimize content strategy, and lead SEO initiatives from ideation to execution. The ideal candidate is a data-driven marketer with deep expertise in SEO, content optimization, and user experience, and has a strong ability to align SEO strategies with broader digital marketing goals .

• SEO Growth & Strategy

  • Develop and execute SEO strategies that drive non-branded traffic and increase search visibility.
  • Optimize website structure, content, and on-page elements to enhance organic performance.
  • Analyze data to inform content strategies and improve conversion rates.

• Content Optimization & Digital PR

  • Guide content development, ensuring alignment with SEO best practices and brand messaging.
  • Implement link-building strategies and media outreach to boost domain authority.
  • Oversee reputation management efforts, including online review responses.

• Technical SEO & Website Optimization

  • Lead website redesign initiatives, focusing on site structure, user experience, and technical SEO.
  • Collaborate with developers to enhance website speed, crawlability, and mobile responsiveness.
  • Implement schema markup, site audits, and other advanced SEO techniques.

• Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Manage and mentor content writers, SEO analysts, and digital marketing assistants.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and development teams to align SEO with business objectives.
  • Build internal workflow efficiencies using AI tools and automation.

• Proven experience as an SEO Strategist, SEO Lead, or Digital Marketing Director .
• Strong track record of growing organic traffic and executing SEO-driven content strategies .
• Expertise in technical SEO, content optimization, and link-building strategies .
• Experience with Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other SEO tools .
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement actionable insights .
• Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and manage a team .
• Strong understanding of user experience (UX), marketing psychology, and digital branding .

• Experience in DTC, eCommerce, or SaaS industries .
• Familiarity with AI-powered content optimization tools .
• Background in media outreach and PR for SEO .
