A central Ohio tax efficiency consulting firm is seeking an experienced Tax Consultant, CPA, Financial Advisor, or Tax Attorney. Successful candidate expected to assume role as Lead Consultant. Partial ownership to be awarded upon completion of the first successful year. This well-established consulting firm is located just 35 minutes from downtown Columbus.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years’ tax department experience in a regional or national CPA firm or financial advisory firm. Position requires high level tax consulting expertise and a desire to lead. Compensation includes an attractive incentive plan, competitive salary, and partial ownership.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analysis of clients' financial situations to provide tailored tax planning strategies.
• Advise clients to ensure compliance with relevant tax laws.
• Assist with estate planning by providing insights on wills, trusts, and estate law.
• Collaborate with clients and their advisors to manage their assets effectively while minimizing tax liabilities.
• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and communicate relevant information to clients.
• Mentor junior staff members and assist in their professional development.

Requirements

• Formal Education in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience in tax consulting and/or public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of income tax planning strategies.
• Proficiency in analyzing financial data and preparing comprehensive reports.
• Familiarity with wills, trusts, estate law, and asset management principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
