About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Energy Transition Practice within the Investment Banking division. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of activities, including financial modeling, analysis, and the development of infrastructure and power proposals. This role also involves maintaining client relationships, supporting various transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, and providing training and mentorship to junior team members. The ideal candidate should have a relevant undergraduate degree, at least 4 years of experience in a related field, and possess strong technical, analytical, and quantitative skills. Personal attributes such as high career aspirations, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure are also essential. Applicants for the Vice President position at the company should be well-versed in industry research and comparative analysis, particularly in the infrastructure and power sectors. The role requires a candidate with a deep understanding of financial statements, credit analysis, and accounting principles, as well as superior knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite. Technical proficiency and the ability to learn industry software platforms quickly are also important. A background in business, finance, economics, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred, and certifications such as Series 7, 63, or 79 equivalent are advantageous.
