Title : Warehouse Supervisors

Location: 1 Nixon Lane, Edison, NJ 08837

Hours DAY: 6:00am-3:30pm

Hours NIGHT: 2:30pm-12:00pm

Contract Duration: 6-month contract-hire

Must Haves

-Minimum of 5 years of experience warehouse environment

-2 years of leadership minimum

-Bilingual in Spanish

Hazmat exposure

-3PL experience working with a variety of different products and equipment

• Clamp trucks, electric stand-up machines, forklift, etc

-WMS experience- Accellos highly preferred- NOT just using a scanner, in depth experience, did you run report, run reconciliations, looking at order history (administrative type of work within the WMS)

-HAS to pass a federal background check

-Works well under pressure, articulate, self-thinker, suggest changes

Plus:

-FTZ facilities (foreign trade zone) experience

Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking to hire 4 Warehouse Supervisors for our leading 3rd party logistics company in Edison, NJ. Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for all shipping and receiving
• Ensure that all work is distributed equally between staff for efficiency
• Review workload to ensure proper staffing
• Perform accurate physical inventory when required
• Ensure that all warehouse supplies are available to complete warehouse daily task
• Open and close (alarm) warehouse on a daily basis
• Yard and warehouse clean
• Inventory freight consolidation
• Ensure new warehouse staff is properly trained including temporary laborers
• Communicate effectively with upper Management any issues/concerns
• Responsible for reporting employee errors/deficiencies to management
• Ensure employees comply and are up to date with Warehousing Training Program
• Present positive atmosphere for all employees
• Conduct weekly cycle counts on random clients
• Report equipment failures to Facility Manager (forklifts, dock doors, levelers etc..)
• Maintain daily records of pre-trip inspections for all machinery

Compensation: $29/hr to $32/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment.
