Connectivity Point is currently looking for a full-time Telecommunications Technician to support the Operations division of Connectivity Point. This role is available in NH/MA. The Opportunity: This full-time role offers a unique blend of teamwork and independence, allowing you to thrive in a dynamic work environment. You will install and maintain systems for connectivity, including using copper wire, fiber optics, wireless networks, category cabling, sound masking, and IDF and MDF closet work. This position will offer the opportunity to have extensive on the job training while learning the beneficial skills needed as you become a valued member of our operations team. The primary role of the Telecommunications Technician is to troubleshoot, identify, escalate, and resolve structured cabling problems for our customers. The Telecommunications Technician will complete all phases of the project's installation including, but not limited to, providing exceptional customer support during field visits or dispatches, diagnosing errors or technical problems, and determining proper solutions. The areas of expertise are varied and require advanced technical knowledge of structured network cabling including installation, programming, testing of low voltage and telecommunications products. Telecommunications Technician primarily performs these services at our customer's facilities. A strong, comprehensive background in electronics, computers, and IT networks best practices is preferred. This position requires attention to detail, punctuality, and good communication skills.
